Royal Institute of Philosophy Lectures, St Mary’s University
The Philosophy Programme at St Mary’s University has been hosting Royal Institute of Philosophy (RIP) lectures since September 2011. In these pages you can find information about all the lectures we’ve held, as well as about upcoming talks.
Talks are typically held on a Thursday evening, every one or two months, and are hosted in the Senior Common Room on campus. This room is opposite the Waldegrave Drawing Room in building B on this map: http://www.stmarys.ac.uk/contact/docs/2015-october-main-campus-map.pdf
All lectures are free, open to the public without registration and suitable for a non-specialist audience. Lectures start at 5.15pm and last for 45 minutes, with 45 minutes for questions. This is then followed by a wine reception.
Situated within the School of Arts and Humanities, Philosophy at St. Mary’s offers degrees in both single and joint honours. You can find more information about the Programme here: http://www.stmarys.ac.uk/undergraduate/philosophy/
